Parsons Beach
Wide open, beautiful beach that is surrounded by protected land. From Dock Square head west on Route 9 / Western Avenue into Kennebunk. Go ~2.5 miles. After crossing a small bridge over the Mousam River take your first left onto Parson's Beach Road (you will see a sign for Riverhurst Farm on the corner). Parking is available along parts of Parson's Beach Road on the way in and alternatively across Route 9. Parking is limited so carpooling is a good idea.

The Colony Beach in Kennebunkport
Convenient but small beach located just across Ocean Avenue from The Colony Hotel.
Parking onsite and no parking sticker needed.

Kennebunk Beaches
As you exit Kennebunkport heading west toward Kennebunk; take a left a the first traffic light onto Beach Rd. Follow the road ~1.0 mile to arrive at the beginning of a series of three beaches that stretch along Beach Avenue. The first is Gooch's Beach which is crowded and attracts lots of day trippers. The second, a long rocky beach, is usually fairly empty. The third, Mother's Beach, is popular with summer residents and good for swimming and kids. A parking pass is needed to park along Beach Avenue which makes parking at the first two beaches difficult. Parking is easier near Mother's Beach.

Goose Rocks Beach
~9 miles from Dock Square - a favorite beach with protected shoreline and sand bars.
